"I trained at Cambridge University and Barts (St Bartholomews Hospital) in London and qualified in 1978. I have been at Brimington since 1987, and have seen the practice change, grow and develop over the last 20 years. I have always taken a very patien-centred approach to medicine and believe that the continuity of care is an important factor in helping people look after their health. I now work four days a week in the practice."
"I trained in Scotland at St Andrew's University and I completed my GP training at various hospitals and surgeries in the Lake District. I spent 12 months working as a GP in New Zealand and Australia, and I joined Brimington Surgery as a full-time partner in 1993. I work most days at the surgery and also work out of hours for the local emergency service, Derbyshire Health United. I value old fashioned care in a modern setting, and I believe we do achieve that at Brimington Surgery."
"I graduated from Dundee University in 1991 and have been a Partner at Brimington Surgery since 1998. I currently work two and a half days a week due to my young family. My main area of interest is family planning and I hold weekly clinics with an open access policy"
"I qualified as a doctor in 1992 at the University of London. I then moved to Sheffield where I took up my first medical position, before training in psychiatry for 5 years based in Sheffield, Rotherham, and Chesterfield. I made the decision to move into General Practice in 1998, joined the Chesterfield training scheme, and completed my General Practice training in 2001. I have been working as a salaried GP in Rotherham for the last 3 years and am looking forward to returning to Chesterfield. My special interests are psychiatryand minor surgery."
