Extended Access at The Brimington Surgery
Local GP practices are working together to offer patients better access to GP appointments in Chesterfield
You can now book appointments to see a GP, practice nurse or other health professional at the 8-8 Access Hub held at The Brimington Surgery in the evenings from 18.00 to 20.00 and at weekends Saturday 08.00 –12.00 and Sundays 09.00 -12.00.

The Surgery's phone lines are available from 8:00am until 6:00pm.
From 6:00pm – 8:00am clinical cover is provided by the Out of Hours Service, you can access this by phoning 111.
The practice doors remain open until 6:30pm for collection of prescriptions, booking appointments and other non-clinical queries.
Outside normal surgery hours please dial 111 and you will be directed to the NHS 111 service. You will be assessed and directed to the most appropriate point of care for your particular needs.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
